생이란 / life is

둥근 태양이 대지를 굽어본다

하늘에선 이슬비가 내리고

사람들은 열차안에서 잠들어 있다

사람들은 한도끝도 없는 철로 위에서

한도끝도 없이 인생을 낭비한다

누군가는 시를 쓰고

누군가는 도박을 하고

아무도 일하려 하지 않으며

그저 떠들고 놀고

나는 열차를 나온다

잠시 붉어졌던 하늘은 차차 푸르름으로 변해간다

생이란 이런 것이다

누구는 도박을 하고 누구는 시를 쓰고

바람이 불어와 열차를 세운다

사람들이 일어나 열차를 나온다

세상은 종이 한 장 같이 깨끗하지만

사람들은 각자의 종이에

그림을 그린다

round sun overlook the land
from the sky, dew rain comes down
people in the trains fall asleep

people, in the endless way of train
spending their lives endlessly

someone writing poems
someene else taking a chance

no one tries to work
just chatting and idling

I came out of the train
one time growing red sky now turning bluish

life is like this
one man is playing a chance
other man is writing poems

wind blowing trains stops
people get up and coming out

everything is clean as a paper
people, in their own paper
make a drawing
